Women’s Soccer

Women’s soccer, also known as women’s football in many countries, refers to the sport of soccer (association football) played by female athletes. It involves two teams of eleven players competing to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team’s net, using any part of the body except the arms and hands (goalkeepers are an exception). Women’s soccer has gained significant recognition and popularity over the years, with organized leagues, tournaments, and international competitions, such as the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The sport promotes gender equality and provides opportunities for women in athletics, fostering both athletic skill and teamwork.
